Roasted Yerba-Maté

Roasted Yerba-Maté is a rich, full-bodied and smooth brew. Flavours of coffee and toast make it deeply satisfying and quite different to conventional teas.

Prepared from the evergreen shrub, Ilex paraguariensis, Yerba Maté is the traditional drink throughout Latin America. When roasted, it’s toasty, slightly creamy - reminiscent of Japanese Hōjicha. Both green and roasted maté contain caffeine. We do not have a measured caffeine comparison for these products.
